Casual Childcare at KingKids

Need childcare but only every now and then? We offer casual childcare at our KingKids Early Learning & Kindergarten centres, and it might be just what you need.

You don’t need to have a permanent booking to book in for our casual care service so it offers the flexibility you might be looking for.

What is casual childcare?

Casual childcare is an occasional or casual childcare booking that is not a permanently booked day and you use the childcare on a casual basis, or, if your child already has permanently booked days, it’s a casual booking on a day that is in addition to your child’s usual permanent days.

How Does It Work?

Casual bookings are only available if there is availability at the relevant KingKids centre.

Families don’t need to have a permanent booking to book in for casual childcare, but you do need to be enrolled with your selected centre.

Priority is given to families with permanent bookings wanting an extra day before children that attend on a casual only basis.

We recommend bookings are made with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice, as centre and room availability needs to be checked before a booking can be confirmed.

All casual childcare bookings are charged at our permanent rate plus $3.00 per day.

Cancellations of casual bookings must be made 48 hours prior to the booking date; otherwise full casual fees will be charged.
