How We Learn
The design of our centre fuels your child’s natural curiosity! Each room delivers a mix of structured activities and open-ended play that encourages your child to explore, discover, and learn. We celebrate individuality, culture, community which support us in adapting our teaching approach to each child’s unique style, energy levels and needs. This allows them to blossom at their own pace, building confidence and a love for the discovery of the world around them.

Where We Play
At our centre, we’ve designed more than play spaces. We’ve created environments with purpose: where your child builds the life skills, school readiness, and emotional confidence to thrive. Cass
Director
More About Me +Less About Me -Hi, I’m Cass! I’ve been with KingKids since 2013 and I fully embrace my role as the resident “cool aunty” director, the one who starts random dance parties, turns dress-up days into a whole personality. I’m all about creating joy, being silly and making every child and family feel welcome and loved. I’m super passionate about team wellbeing, because when our team is buzzing with positivity, that vibe spreads straight to our children, families and community.A little about me: my heart belongs to fried chicken tenders and hot chips, and my dream holiday is anywhere tropical in Australia (Far North Queensland, get me there!). I’m a devoted cat mum to Rain and Storm, a chaotic but very shy little sibling duo I adopted during Covid, and we have all been obsessed with each other ever since. Weekends are for gym sessions, long walks, markets and dancing (and badly singing) at any live music event I can find.A super interesting fact about me is that I actually grew up living in a cemetery when I was younger as my dad was a gardener and maintenance man there, making it normal to be able to walk the dogs out in the grounds after hours, from the gate in my backyard. Obviously some awkward family conversations when I wondered why my cousins wouldn’t want to come for sleep overs at my house, where evening dog walks among the grounds were normal.

Claire
Assistant Director
More About Me +Less About Me -Hi, I’m Claire!Working in childcare has always been a true passion of mine, and I feel incredibly proud to be in a role where I can support not only the children in our care, but also the amazing team I get to work with every day. I love watching our educators grow in confidence, develop their skills, and bring their unique strengths into each learning environment. Each day in childcare is different, and that’s something I thrive on. Creating a warm, nurturing, and supportive environment is really important to me. I strive to build strong relationships with both children and their families, ensuring everyone feels welcome, understood, and valued. Being part of their milestones, no matter how big or small, is one of the most rewarding parts of my role. Anyone who knows me will tell you that you’ll probably hear me before you see me, and I bring that same enthusiasm and big personality wherever I go.

Imashi
Co educator
More About Me +Less About Me -Hello! My name is Imashi Kavithma Gunathilake and I am from Sri Lanka.I came to Australia for my higher studies. I studied a Bachelor of Business Information Systems majoring in Data Analytics, which I soon realised is not something I was passionate about. I then did some thinking and immediately remembered what I wanted to be when I was in Kinder, a teacher. I taught my parents and grandparents the things I learnt in Kinder and thought I should become a teacher. So, I started studying a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education and started working as an Educator. I enjoy my free time trying different cuisines and watching movies. My favourite person is my mother and father and I have a younger sister. I speak Sinhalese and English and would love to visit Paris and Switzerland one day.
