Hi I’m Shaun,
I have worked in hospitality for 14 years. I love planning the menu and cooking the children healthy and delicious food. I also love when I have families come to me and ask how I make my food as their children will not eat anything at home. I am also enrolled in diploma of early childhood education and care as I love making the food for the children but would love to get in to the rooms to start teaching the children.

I am an Educator at KingKids Mooroolbark. I have been working in the early childhood industry for over twenty years. I have worked in long day care, sessional kinder and ran my own family day care from home.
I am passionate about developing relationships with not only the children in my care but their families as well. I believe children learn through play and learn best when they are feeling safe, secure and supported. I believe every child is important and needs time to be allowed to develop at their own rate. I believe “It takes a village to raise a child” and I am excited to be part of your village.

Hi, I’m Keera,
I hold my Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. I have had a great passion for child development from a young age. I have great memories from when my younger sister was born; it was so enjoyable to watch her as she grew and learnt new skills. This is where my passion came from and made me realise that I want to be around children, to make a positive impact on their lives as they develop and grow.
Hi, my name is Miss Caz,
I am the 4 year old Kindergarten Teacher here at KingKids Mooroolbark. I started my teaching career in primary school, but as soon as I experienced the level of growth and development that happens in the Early Years, I instantly fell in love! I am proud to call this beautiful Centre my home.
Taylah and I run a play-based educational program in accordance with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), so that we are not just preparing our children for going to school, but also to be truly great citizens today, in every aspect of their young lives.
Hi, I’m Taylah.
I am currently working towards my Diploma in Early Childhood education and care and have been working in the education and care industry for 8 years.
I am passionate about children’s education, development and care. The most important thing to me is to be an inspiration and an advocate for children who may not have the ability to communicate their needs or understand their emotions. I feel privileged to work in such a space that I can use my passion and skills to create positive change in Children and families lives.
Hi I’m Jacqui,
I have been working in the industry for over 12 years, starting as a student then becoming an assistant in a Nursery and then room leader in a Toddler room, and then later in a Pre-Kinder Room. I then went off to study my Bachelor of Early Childhood and became a kinder teacher for several years before having my son in early 2019. It was during my time teaching 4-year-old kinder that I found a real passion for leadership and so once I found my new home at KingKids Mooroolbark.
I absolutely jumped at the opportunity to become the Centre’s Educational Leader. I love being able to assist educators to implement their programs for the benefit of the children, create play spaces and motivate educators to be the best they can be.
Hi, I’m Lizzy
As an Early Childhood Educator I find it truly rewarding. Helping guide all the children and their families through their first years of life, is such a privilege. And seeing all the smiles on their faces, most certainly makes my day.
Hi, I’m Stacey
I’ve held my Advanced Diploma in Community Services since 1997. Over the 20 plus years I have loved working with children and families and have found, especially after having my own three children, how much I love watching children grow, watching them experience, understand and learn from everything through their play.
Hi I’m Louise,
I believe that children should be given the opportunity to learn and explore their surroundings that are offered to them.
Children should be treated as individuals as they are all different and learn at their own pace.
I believe that Educators should respect each parent and be honest and sincere with them when they require information about their child’s welfare and development.
I believe that children with different cultural backgrounds should be acknowledged and respected and included in the programs when possible.
Hi I’m Emilie,
I completed my diploma in June 2018 and have experienced working in both Long Day Care and Sessional Kindergarten. I love working with Children and creating bonds with them and their families. I truly believe that each child will grow and develop at their own pace and I am here to support them through their own individual journey.
Hi, I’m Ayesha,
I have had the privilege of working as a 3 year old and 4 year old Kinder teacher in the last 7 years as well as working with children of other ages. It is fair to say that I have a real passion for the Mooroolbark centre being a parent and educator, watching my child and other children enjoy and grow in their time at KingKids Mooroolbark. I enjoy taking the time to get to know the children and families and love the variety and challenge that each day brings.
Research shows that environmental factors play a critical role in enabling children to grow and fully realise their potential. It is through ‘Nurture’ that man is able to figure out who he is. I believe that once a child feels cared for, secure and supported that’s when he or she will go on to learn, grow and meet his or her full potential. My work as an educator is rewarding not only because I teach children but because I learn so much more from them.
