I have a Cert IV in Commercial Cookery and have completed studies through Nutrition Australia, Healthy Eating Advisory Service and Feed Australia.
I believe that life is all about gaining knowledge, and sharing it with others, I feel that education is a lifelong process to gain knowledge I value Early childhood education as the foundation for lifelong learning.
I believe that every child is a unique individual and should be viewed, respected and treated as such.  I feel that all children deserve to have the highest quality nutritional information and procedure available to them so they can enjoy a nutritionally balanced diet that is also pleasing to the eye, which will nourish them throughout their day. I believe that by working in early childhood education that we have an important role in preparing children for good lifelong eating habits, we can lead, coach and facilitate their different needs.
I believe that our menu choices should reflect that of our community, and I cater for all dietary restrictions, allergies and cultural needs.

& Workplace Health & Safety Officer

Hi, I’m Lizzy

As an Early Childhood Educator I find it truly rewarding. Helping guide all the children and their families through their first years of life, is such a privilege. And seeing all the smiles on their faces, most certainly makes my day.

Hi, I’m Stacey

I’ve held my Advanced Diploma in Community Services since 1997. Over the 20 plus years I have loved working with children and families and have found, especially after having my own three children, how much I love watching children grow, watching them experience, understand and learn from everything through their play.

(Maternity Leave)

Hi, I’m Ayesha,

I have had the privilege of working as a 3 year old and 4 year old Kinder teacher in the last 7 years as well as working with children of other ages. It is fair to say that I have a real passion for the Mooroolbark centre being a parent and educator, watching my child and other children enjoy and grow in their time at KingKids Mooroolbark. I enjoy taking the time to get to know the children and families and love the variety and challenge that each day brings.
Research shows that environmental factors play a critical role in enabling children to grow and fully realise their potential. It is through ‘Nurture’ that man is able to figure out who he is. I believe that once a child feels cared for, secure and supported that’s when he or she will go on to learn, grow and meet his or her full potential. My work as an educator is rewarding not only because I teach children but because I learn so much more from them.

Hi I’m Louise,

I believe that children should be given the opportunity to learn and explore their surroundings that are offered to them.
Children should be treated as individuals as they are all different and learn at their own pace.
I believe that Educators should respect each parent and be honest and sincere with them when they require information about their child’s welfare and development.
I believe that children with different cultural backgrounds should be acknowledged and respected and included in the programs when possible.

Hi, I’m Katherine,

I am an enthusiastic and passionate Early Childhood Educator, I love to contribute and make a positive difference in the Children’s learning journey.  I intend to demonstrate skills by communicating with children and Educators, planning, organising and implementing an emerging curriculum.

I particularly enjoy scaffolding children’s comprehensive development in line with the EYLF, VEYLF and NQS. My teaching philosophy is to provide plenty of opportunities for children to create and develop their skills and intentionally teach based on the children’s interests, reflect on those experiences and ensure children receive high quality education and care.
